GHC's student population is one of the most diverse, with more than 40 languages spoken and over 60 nationalities represented, and 50% socioeconomically disadvantaged including foster youth. In elementary school, students are exposed to the basics of academic subjects, other children with whom they build relationships, and guidelines that could form a foundation as to what is appropriate in their minds. Students benefit by learning about how forensics are used and how to approach unsolved cases using the skills found in forensic science. Granada Hills Charter High School has more than two dozen sets of multiples twins and triplets.
